"Listen, my children, and you shall hear, of the midnight ride of Paul Revere" goes the immortal poem of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow in describing Paul Revere's famous ride to warn American patriots that the British were approaching Boston...but there weas another ride, one much less famous but likely just as important, made by a patriot named Jack Jouett in Charlottesville, VA, in 1781, that may well have saved Thomas Jefferson's bacon as well as three other signers of the Declaration of Independence-men whose capture would have meant a terrible blow to American morale and the beginning of the end for the American revolution, the fate of which, in 1781, was hanging by a thin thread.   Credit: Beethoven's Figlio Perdido by the Berliner Orchestra Our website: Facebook:   Sponsor us at PLEASE SHARE OUR SHOW!  THANKS
